If you live in Colorado, you can now search for sex offenders by color.
The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) has released a new tool to help find sex offender listings.
A user named genshin, who has been tracking sex offenders since 2011, says he noticed an uptick in sex offender information on the internet.
Genshin says the tool has been available for a while, but it’s only recently been added to the system.
He says it’s easy to find and add sex offender profiles.
“I think a lot of people are confused about how to find the listings.
If you’re looking for a specific location, you have to go through the county to see it.
It takes a lot longer to find than just the city or state.
So the information is a little confusing,” he told ESPN Clic.”
It’s actually easier to find these types of listings on Google Maps because it’s not really a map.
You don’t have to scroll around and find places.”
In fact, the only thing you’ll find is an orange dot on a map, with the name of the county, city, and state.
Genshin notes it’s easier to search for a sex offender in the state, because there’s no state map to be found.
“You just look at the state map, you don’t really have to travel any farther than your state,” he said.
“There’s no way to tell whether they’re in the same county or not.”
The new tool was created by the Colorado Department for Corrections and Rehabilitation.
The CDOC states that the tool is not intended to be used as a substitute for being aware of known sex offenders.
“The intent of this tool is to be a resource for individuals, their families, friends and law enforcement to access and make a personal connection with a sex offense offender,” CDOC spokesperson Susan Wiebe told ESPNCric.
“If a sex crime suspect is not found by searching for a particular person in the county or state, it is not necessarily a sign that that individual is a sex crimes suspect.
We encourage all individuals, families, and law enforcements to remain vigilant and to follow the law.
In addition, if you suspect someone may be a sex predator, please report the individual to the police immediately.”
It is unclear whether Genshen found any listings for sex predators in Colorado.
