In the United States, maps are a major part of the tourist experience.
But with so many of them to choose from, we’ve taken a look at some of the best maps for your use.

California, Arizona and New Mexico are located in the Western Hemisphere, which means they’re part of our geographic area, as well as having distinct geographies.

Arizona and California are also the home of the state parks and the Grand Canyon.
Idaho and Montana are home to the mountains, and Montana has the most lakes.

Idaho has the least amount of snow in the country, but the Rocky Mountains are the source of the snow.
Washington and Wyoming are home of both the state and the country’s capital.
The state of Wyoming has nearly 50% of its land area covered by snow and about 25% of snowfall.
Montana has about 13% of all the snow in Washington, but it has less than 4% of Wyoming’s land area.
Idaho, the only state that has less snow, has about 4% snow in both the winter and the summer months.
The states have similar climate, so they both have similar conditions for skiing and snowboarding.
New Mexico is the state with the least number of snow events.
Montana, on the other hand, has more snow events than New Mexico.
Colorado has the highest amount of precipitation, while Wyoming has the lowest.
Idaho is the least populated state, but Alaska has the fewest.

Alaska snow has the shortest amount of time between the onset of snow and the next event, while Idaho snow is the longest.
